You will be a key member of the Product team supporting products solving problems for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Our mission is to enable our sales channels to help SMBs succeed using software that solves various merchant service problems. This includes understanding and articulating key challenges SMBs face specific to various markets or merchant types to inform our product strategy and enable merchant success. You will be responsible for managing the daily success of helping launch products, operationalizing processes, and looking for key issues and trends that will increase the success of our products for our merchants. You will work closely with operations, marketing, designers, sales, and support to launch, support, and improve the ecosystem of SMBs products that delight customers and deliver revenue. Responsibilities: 

  • Work with commercial and operational teams to help refine and create new processes to create high percentage plays for both winning deals as well as activating customers onto software solutions successfully. 

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer and the competitive landscape to identify market and product opportunities. 

  • Work closely with our software demo sales team in day-to-day activities with the goal to improve close/won rates, and support increasing sales for products within our product strategy. 

  • Work closely with operations to help foster a streamlined process from lead to activation within the Xplor organization for products being sold under our product strategy. 

  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. 

  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities. 

  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships. 

  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples. 

  • Provide vendor management responsibilities and work daily with vendors to close gaps, create a working set of areas we can improve with the vendor and foster high trust relationships with our vendors. 

  • Work with marketing and sales enablement to help refine Go-to-Market strategies and positioning. 

  • In addition to launching products, leading efforts to consolidate product adoption metrics or other key business metrics that can help increase revenue and/or reduce cost. 

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to measure product success and glean new insights. 

  • Understand, articulate, and capture customer and market problems and then translate them into market requirements for future product roadmap delivery. 

  • Identify and build trust with key relationships needed to make our products in their respective verticals successful. 

  • Responsible for executing and helping enhance channel communication strategies for new product launch. 

  • Help contribute to refining our roadmap for direct to merchant software solutions, embedded software solutions for existing merchants, embedded software solutions for ISVs to resell. 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, or sales engineering. 

  • Experience in payments technology or SaaS software is highly desired. 

  • Experience in helping support, sell, or go to market involvement of a POS (Point of Sale) system 

  • Direct experience with Agile software development methodologies. 

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. 

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make decisions. 

  • Team player who brings a "can do" attitude to work every day.
