Summary
Mission Technologies is seeking a Network Administrator to support the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN), which delivers distributed modeling and simulation capabilities across the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE). This role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and cybersecurity defense of client and server infrastructure that underpins enterprise-wide training applications and services.
The Network Administrator will work closely with team members and departments to update, monitor, and maintain servers and workstations across the enterprise. Responsibilities include Microsoft Windows server administration, Group Policy Object (GPO) management, DHCP configuration, patching, STIG implementation, authoring standard operating procedures, and providing Tier 2 technical support. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.

What you will do

Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows servers and workstations

Configure and manage Active Directory, GPOs, and DHCP reservations

Apply operating system patches and enforce DoD STIG compliance standards

Monitor and support enterprise server and workstation performance
-
Author and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Provide Tier 2-level technical support for software, hardware, and connectivity issues
-
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational continuity
-
Support system upgrades, patching cycles, and release installations

Work independently and within a team to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
What you must have
Education & Experience - Must meet one of the following:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience

Master’s degree in a related field

High school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of relevant experience
Technical Skills
-
Experience with Microsoft WSUS or SCCM
-
Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 and Active Directory

Familiarity with Windows
