Core Role Responsibilities
Responsible for greeting, assisting, educating, and/or ushering guests throughout their experience, including but not limited to ticketing needs, point-of-sale assistance, and exit greets
Conducts quality food checks and delivers food/beverage orders to the correct seats consistent with venue theater floor maps
Knowledgeable of the Alamo menu and common allergens
Responsible for safe alcohol service, including checking IDs on drink delivery and monitoring guest consumption, following local and state regulations
Knowledgeable of Alamo policies, procedures, and safety standards
Calmly acts as first responder for guest complaints and disruptions, working to resolve issues while balancing brand standards with a positive guest experience
Regularly and effectively communicates urgent issues or unusual matters of significance to managers; takes prompt corrective action in accordance with Alamo standards of conduct where necessary
Maintains a cheerful, courteous disposition with guests and teammates, and communicates efficiently with Production staff, Runners, Managers, and guests
Checks guest tickets to ensure they are in the correct seat
Responsible for theater, lobby, and restroom cleaning, as well as opening and closing duties as assigned, to maintain cleanliness standards across all high-touch area
Anticipates guest needs and monitors notifications for guest requests
Anticipates and maintains appropriate stocking levels of necessary supplies
Acts as Brand ambassador for Loyalty and Subscription programs (i.e.,Victory Rewards and Season Pass)
Must be flexible and comfortable acting as a full guest-facing liaison in the event of a technology glitch or as needed for private event execution or other business reasons
Must exhibit a full understanding and the proper administration of ADA standards, including service animal regulations, wheelchair accessible seating, and assistive devices to guests' seats
Completes tasks with efficiency and a sense of urgency
Demonstrates strong teamwork skills
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience
Prior experience with point-of-sale systems
Prior hospitality or food service experience
Requirements
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (minimum 3 days a week, at least one day being a weekend)
Ability to move with caution and work collaboratively in a loud, sometimes dark, fast-paced environment
Ability to bend, duck, crouch, walk up and down stairs, carry multiple plates/trays, and deliver food while limiting disruptions
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at one time and repeatedly during entire shift
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to maintain physical stamina and coordination in a fast-paced setting
Stays up-to-date on all local food/beverage compliance regulations, safety courses, and assigned online training
