Walker Allergy & ENT is a multi service practice that provides ENT, Audiology, and Allergy services. We have a well-known & highly respected reputation in both our Fleming Island and Jacksonville communities. Our work week hours are Monday-Friday, beginning at 7am. We are closed on weekends and National Holiday’s. Our team of clinicians and staff work together to focus on comprehensive and quality care for each patient.

Walker Allergy ENT is currently seeking a Full time dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team!

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct one on one patient care and education
• Conduct environmental Allergy testing, including but not limited to Penicillin allergy testing, administering allergy injections weekly and educating patients.
• Mixing Antigens from results of allergy testing formula
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients about allergy treatment & treatment options, and preventive measures
• Allergy dept inventory/ordering

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current healthcare practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records - Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
