Join our client’s innovative team as a Automation Test Engineer where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge autonomous software. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with a dynamic team in a Scrum environment, driving excellence through rigorous testing and detailed analysis to identify and resolve software defects.

Your role

• Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and design effective test plans and strategies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases and supporting documentation.
• Execute both manual and automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues identified during testing, working closely with project teams to implement solutions.
• Conduct user acceptance testing prior to software releases.
• Actively participate in Scrum meetings and provide regular quality updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall software quality.
• Perform testing in lab settings, on vehicles, and in real-world field environments.

Your skills and experience

• 7+ years of experience in Software QA Testing or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Proficiency with test case management tools such as JIRA or TestRail.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or Postman.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn the Linux operating system and proprietary software installation and diagnostics.
• Experience with Jama RM software is a plus.
