Software Engineer, Frontend (Ads Advertiser Growth)

Ads team is the fuel that powers Reddit’s mission to bring community, belonging, and empowerment to everyone in the world. We are seeking a software engineer to join our Advertiser Growth team within the Advertiser Platform organization! The team will be responsible for growing the number of advertisers on Reddit. 

Advertiser Growth is a part of the Advertiser Platform organization that owns the frontend and backend of ads.reddit.com, the core advertiser-facing product on Reddit.

The Advertiser Growth team will be focused on four key areas:

• Advertiser Acquisition – Make sure the sign-up flow is up and running and how to make it easy to use for new advertisers.
• Advertiser Activation – Build products so advertisers can create their ad campaigns as efficiently as possible.
• Advertiser Retention – Add value by reducing churn and bringing back churned advertisers.
• Product Quality – Build enhancements to existing features for better ease of use

The team consists of both frontend and backend engineers and will own advertiser growth engine end-to-end. You’ll work with React, Redux, Python, Postgres, BigQuery, Ad Airflow, and many more technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions to customer problems
• Lead other engineers in implementing your technical designs
• Partner with our data processing and data warehousing teams to make data available to advertisers
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to discover and build new products that drive Advertiser Growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience partnering with product managers and designers to build new user-facing products
• Deep expertise in Frontend engineering. Opportunity to work on the backend if interested.

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive a commission. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: USD $157.400 - $236.100
