Job Summary:

Join our team as a Fleet Technician II and apply your expert mechanical skills in maintaining and repairing diesel, gasoline, and alternatively fueled vehicles and equipment, including solid waste and emergency apparatus. This position involves skilled, hands-on work performed independently or as part of a team, with guidance and evaluation from a Lead Mechanic, Supervisor, or Manager.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of heavy truck experience
• Master Truck ASE Certification
• One Fire Apparatus EVT Certification
• Commitment to a two-year employment requirement

Fleet Tech II Entry - $25.52/hr
Fleet II Level II Master Truck ASE & 2 EVT's one must be a Fire Apparatus $29.35/hr
Fleet II Level III Master Truck ASE & Master EVT $31.91/hr

• Basic and complex heavy equipment suspension diagnosis and repair, including component removal and replacement

• Fabrication skills, including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), arc & gas welding
