Job Description

AECOM/Hunt has an exciting opportunity for our JFK Airport T6 Terminal reconfiguration for Project Director or oversee all aspects of: Electrical, Traffic distribution, Utility Distribution, Concourse development, Commissioning, etc.  

Job Description: 

• Complete accountability and direction for entire project, from pre-construction phase to completion and is the primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. 
• Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. 
• Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout. 
• Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• BS Engineering or related curriculum and 12 years of relevant experience in the construction of large infrastructure projects, including aviation (or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education) and 4 years of demonstrated leadership experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• BS Engineering
• 12 years of construction experience in large infrastructure projects.
• Experience in leading MEP teams.
• Experience in commissioning and decommissioning of electrical, fire protection, plumbing systems.
• Experience in project execution and procurement planning, budgeting and estimating on large construction projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability to lead teams to common goals.
• Offered rate of compensation (New York City only) will be based on individual education, qualification, experience and work location. The salary range for the position is $176,554.31 - $326,625.48 annually (exempt).

• This position does not include relocation.
• This position is located in Jamaica, Queens, NY and is not remote nor hybrid. 
• For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
