The Real Estate Technology team focuses on ensuring we are using the full features and capabilities of our real estate systems to the benefit of our employees, customers, and guests. We are seeking a forward-thinking Technology Portfolio Manager to help us architect and implement our office real estate technology strategy. This role will be pivotal in mapping our business processes to a streamlined technology suite that supports and enhances our real estate operations and employee experience.

As a Senior Manager on the Technology Enablement and Data Insights team, you will be part of a dynamic, distributed team building and supporting the strategy and operational needs of our real estate organization and Salesforce employees. You will work closely with organizational partners using technology to find opportunities to improve our performance, services, solution options, and influence our real estate strategy. You will champion using technology in our day-to-day operations to improve our operational efficiency. As a senior manager, you will work collaboratively with leaders to find cross-functional solutions and ensure alignment of real estate technology initiatives with business goals. You will be responsible for the identification, selection, and support of implementation/operations of our advanced workplace technologies suite of tools.

Your impact:

• Develop and implement an integrated real estate technology strategy in line with the company's goals and objectives. Proactively find opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and system enhancement.
• Partner with the real estate leaders and teams to understand where technology can augment their processes and performance.
• Ensure all our technology systems are architected to work together within a master data management framework.
• Manage vendor relationships optimally, staying knowledgeable of their current and future roadmaps. Make strategic decisions on where to expand or contract our engagement with their offerings based on our evolving needs and their product development trajectories, particularly in the realm of AI. This includes regular communication with vendors, understanding their offerings in-depth, and assessing the value they bring to our technology portfolio.
• Measure success - Track and report on the progress and success of our technology program initiatives. Define what success means for each solution, subsequent feature, and each function before it goes to implementation.
• Create business value and/or justification proposals for any new technology initiatives. This includes conducting cost-benefit analyses, understanding the potential impact on our operations, and effectively communicating the value proposition to relevant partners.
• Communicate clearly and efficiently. Coordinate release communications for your technology. Define expectations for technology partner teams and hold them accountable for success and failures.
• Work with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve incidents and problems affecting real estate technology services.
• Collaborate with our IT team to build custom solutions tailored to our unique needs.
• Deep understanding of the operating IT teams required to manage the hardware and software this role deploys into our offices. The candidate should be able to anticipate and propose where additional headcount will be needed if a tool requires it, ensuring smooth operations and efficient use of resources
• Perform System Administrator tasks as necessary

Qualifications:

• Experience with real estate hardware and technology systems such as Occupancy sensors, CAFM, IWMS, CMMS, etc.
• A strong understanding of technology within the real estate industry.
• Track record for driving new technical capabilities from initial concept to successful testing/delivery and adoption.
