Customer Account Specialist (Mon - Fri 8:00 - 4:30PM)

Description

 RK Logisitics Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Account Specialist to serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring comprehensive service and fostering strong relationships.  This role will also support administrative and operational tasks including addressing billing issues, contract updates, commercial negotiations, customer service escalations Etc.  Additionally, the specialist will assist with new business development efforts.  

Requirements

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. 
• Liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. 
• Manage administrative tasks, including handling billing inquiries, contract updates and commercial negotiations. 
• Address and resolve customer service escalations with professionalism and efficiency. 
• Support business development efforts by assisting with RFP and Bid responses, document preparation and contract management. 
• Maintain and update the CRM system to track client and project information. 
• Coordinate open action items between operations and business development teams. 
• Provide exceptional service and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. 
• Ensure “Voice of the Customer” and identify growth opportunities. 
• Promote and participate in “Continuous Improvement.”  

Qualifications & Skills needed: 

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• 1-2 years of experience in Account Management, B2B relationship building, preferably in the warehouse/logistics industry. 
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
• Demonstrated ability to influence peers through collaboration. 
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean processes (Kaizen, Gemba). 
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
