Summary of Job Duties:

Within the Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL), the Clinical and Operational Performance Manager (COPM) provides management and oversight of all clinical and operational analytics as well as development and execution of necessary performance improvement deliverables. The COPQIPIM is a critical leadership role within the Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL) at UAMS. This position will enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the cardiology department by overseeing data analysts responsible for extracting and managing crucial data from various cardiology databases, including CathPCI, STS/TVT, STS National, AFIB, LAAO, Chest Pain, Intermacs, ELSO, and Heart Failure. The COPQIPIM will combine quality coordination and management responsibilities to ensure comprehensive oversight of quality initiatives essential for accreditation compliance and improved patient care outcomes.
