Job Description:

Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Security Sergeant.

This position will primarily work day shift

• Provides supervision and guidance to assigned staff; including scheduling daily assignments and duties.

• Provides written reports and staff training.

• Conducts performance appraisals of assigned employees.

• Provides internal and external security and transportation for patients and staff.

• Responds and assists with patient physical management and all hospital emergencies.

• Evaluates, completes and approves timesheets of assigned staff.

• Other duties as assigned.

Shift Differential Available: 10% (3p-11p) & 12% (11p-7a)

$1 Weekend Premium Available

Required

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have at least one year of experience in law enforcement or security.
• 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position preferred.
