About the role
Our partner is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Night Shift in Sussex, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for the direct supervision and development of the Maintenance team, completion of work orders, and the creation and execution of a comprehensive predictive maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with production by utilizing the maintenance management system and real-time measurement (OEE) to establish procedures, schedules, and resource deployment to ensure high equipment maintenance levels to meet production requirements.
- Develop and implement a preventative/predictive maintenance system in collaboration with production, planning, and staff, ensuring maintenance tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure continuous assessment and skills development of maintenance staff.
- Conduct meetings with maintenance staff to review previous shifts and the current plan.
- Investigate and resolve production issues related to equipment, maintenance, and operating techniques.
- Provide technical assistance for training operating areas on current technologies and new equipment/processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement teams for expansions, new product lines, and diversification.
- Oversee the efficient management of an automated inventory system for parts and equipment, conducting cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
- Integrate parts and maintenance records into a centralized maintenance management system.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, food safety policies, and best practices daily.
- Oversee the completion of safety work orders in a timely manner as set by the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Familiarity with manufacturing controls, PLCs, and VFD principles, electrical systems.
- Strong awareness of food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Basic understanding of OSHA and safety procedures.
- Experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.

- Annual salary of $85,000 - $95,000 with a 10% bonus.
