Are you a driven, reliable, self-sufficient, extremely organized, relationship-builder who is ready to make a difference in the lives of pets and the veterinary community?

This position would require the individual to visit veterinary practices in the Madison, WI area, build relationships and educate hospital staff on the advantages of having Trupanion-insured clients and how to incorporate this into their workflow.

With this role, you can expect a great work-life balance! The schedule is full-time, M-F with no need to work nights or weekends. Your schedule is flexible as long as your weekly targets are hit.

Responsibilities

• Present to veterinary staff with confidence
• Territory Partner Associate does not work directly with pet owners and will grow your book of business by focusing on developing relationships with veterinary practices
• Establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient, and professional service

Qualifications

• No veterinary experience is necessary as we will train the right individual. This is a great opportunity for a pet-passionate person looking to get into the veterinary sales industry.
• Must possess a valid and clean driver’s license record and a reliable car
• Possess a strong belief in our mission to give responsible pet owners the ability to provide the best care for their pet when it becomes sick or injured
• Passion for helping eliminate economic euthanasia in dogs & cats
• Can work independently and as a team, also collaborating with supporting teams from the corporate office.
• Appreciates constructive feedback and mentorship to continually improve your craft
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (primarily Outlook, Excel, and Word) and comfortable with learning new technology
• Must live between Madison, WI and Rockford, IL and be willing to be on the road visiting animal hospitals in addition to some administrative work from home office

Additional Information

Benefits & Compensation:

• $20-$25 an hour plus an uncapped monthly bonus potential
• P&C Licensing is provided and paid for as part of the training
• $400/month gas allowance
