The Senior Project Manager Global Network Planning is a key role in adidas Global Supply Chain, which contributes to ensuring adidas Group distribution network develops in line with our business growth and that it provides us with a competitive edge. This is achieved through driving supply chain network studies, in close collaboration with Market and Global functions.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities </p>
<ul>
<li>Lead Network Studies & Capacity checks for individual countries and actively support Director of Network Planning during regional network projects & programs.</li>
<li>Develop Network recommendations in close partnership with market SCM & Global partners.</li>
<li>Develop & improve Network simulation models.</li>
<li>Coordinate business case development & “Make or Buy” (insource / outsource) evaluation in collaboration with Finance, Global partners, and Market CSM.</li>
<li>Prepare & deliver presentation to Senior Management summarizing outcome of Studies to enable decision making.</li>
<li>Finalize all activities across the projects/programs while ensuring key tasks are handed over and documents are approved, completed, maintained, and stored appropriately.</li>
<li>Initiate & support continuous improvement activities aiming at improving network team efficiency, competencies, and scope.</li>
<li>Gain understanding of Inbound, customs, distribution, deployment, and transportation capabilities across adidas markets.</li>
<li>Act as a trusted partner to supply chain teams and other global functions; Provide ad-hoc support and insights where needed.</li>

<p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Creative and analytical. You can think strategically to break down complexity by analysing and synthesizing complex data sets into a simple storyline.</li>
<li>An engaging personality, a team builder and networker. You are used to different styles, preferences, cultures, and have demonstrated the ability to lead several cross-functional projects simultaneously. </li>
<li>Strong interpersonal skills paired with being a good communicator. You can read between the lines and listen/react to things that are not being said, and you are comfortable interacting with senior management.</li>
<li>Self-directed and impact oriented. You think end-to-end and are comfortable with shifting priorities, deadlines, and keep calm under pressure.</li>
<li>Don't shy away from problems and/or conflicts, contrary you speak up, have an opinion and a</li>
<li>sociable can-do attitude. </li>
<li>Experienced Supply Chain professional. You have good knowledge on warehousing, deployment, transportation, and Inventory management.</li>
<li>Proven track records on wide areas of tools (MS-Excel/PowerPoint, Llamasoft or similar supply chain design tools, Smartsheet, PowerBi, Project Management tools). </li>
<li>You own your development and believe in lifelong learning.</li>

<p>Qualifications</p>
<ul>
<li>Four-year college or university degree with focus on Supply Chain Management</li>
<li>Minimum 5+ year experience within project management, strategy, operations, network planning in SCM preferable </li>
<li>Strong experience managing complex projects related to warehousing, distribution, transportation or process re-engineering.</li>
<li>Project management certification an advantage</li>
