Who You Are
As a Corporate Communications Intern, you are a dynamic and motivated individual with a passion for both public relations (PR) and corporate social responsibility (CSR). You are a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ready to take on diverse tasks and challenges. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn will be essential in contributing to our team's success.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the team to gather and showcase client testimonials, highlighting our success stories and building trust with our customers
• Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling content for various channels, including press releases, social media posts, blog articles, and internal communications. You'll have the opportunity to refine your writing skills and craft engaging messages that resonate with our target audience
• Contribute to our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts by helping to plan, execute, and promote CSR initiatives
• Conduct research for both new projects and ongoing social initiatives. This may involve market research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring
• Assist in analyzing competitor strategies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within our corporate communications efforts
• Contribute to the development and refinement of our social strategy, offering fresh insights and creative ideas to engage our audience and drive our CSR initiatives forward
• Handle administrative tasks such as note-taking during meetings, following up on action items, and facilitating communications with other departments to ensure smooth coordination

What You'll Need

• Students pursuing a degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, graduating in the Fall of 2024 or Spring of 2025
• Availability from January 16th to April 30th, 2024
• Part-Time availability of at LEAST 25 hours a week (Monday – Friday, 9-6 pm EST – NO Weekends)
• Base understanding of social media platforms: Facebook, Linked In, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
• Self-starter that is eager to learn with a willingness to be creative and think outside the box
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capable of working efficiently and effectively in a 100% Remote Capacity     
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Zoom, and Teams
• The pay range for this position is $16 - $22 per hour; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
