You are enabling our internal and external customers to achieve our joint goals and further expand our business. You are responsible for the physical nominations of our transactions with the market and grid operators, providing access to capacity auctions as well as managing the market access to the spot auctions in our Central European markets. You work on the interface of several internal and external stakeholders – therefore, managing occasional projects of various sizes is a natural part of your job.<strong> </strong><br/> <br/> <strong>This opportunity is your entry ticket to the world of energy trading with great development opportunities into even more commercial roles in the company. </strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Key responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Managing our market access to the Continental European spot exchanges (power)</li><li>Providing access to the capacity platforms in gas and power</li><li>Scheduling the physical positions of Vattenfall and its customers to the market, grid and storage operators</li><li>Continuously improving tools and processes to increase speed and efficiency of our operation</li><li>Facilitate cooperation with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our joint targets and further expand our business</li><li>Continuously improving processes and system landscape to maintain operational excellence and keep control of associated risks</li><li>Influencing and implementing regulatory changes and keeping track of market developments</li></ul><p><strong>Location</strong>: Hamburg</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>Your profile as a Junior Prompt Trade Operator/ Logistics: </strong><br/>  </p><ul><li>University degree in preferably business, economics, engineering or  comparable professional education</li><li>Ideally first professional experience in a relevant environment (energy utilities, trading houses)</li><li>Relevant coding skills (Python/VBA) are beneficial, but not a requirement</li><li>Entrepreneurial mindset in combination with strong analytical and communication skills</li><li>Ability to balance your competitive mindset with an empathetic character to meet the needs of your environment</li><li>Result oriented, independent working methodology with high reliability and readiness to take on responsibility</li><li>Willingness to work in a dynamic environment that never stands still (includes working on weekends about once a month)</li></ul><p>At Vattenfall we are convinced that diversity contributes to build a more profitable and attractive company and we strive to be good role model regarding diversity.
