We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible, and not afraid to pick up the phone to follow up on outstanding items. This position requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
Overview:
We invite applicants for the position of Accounts Payable Lead to become an integral part of our accounting team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple locations. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Accounts Payable Lead who confidently leads and drives progress. This person will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and confident working across multiple locations. You’ll be the go-to for making sure invoices are matched, approved, and processed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounts payable function by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Review, match, and approve invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate monthly and weekly invoice listings payable reports for management.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to resolve invoice or payment issues.
- Proactively follow up on approvals and outstanding items across multiple locations.
- Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and audit support.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within AP.
Pay rate: $25-30/hr

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills—comfortable making phone calls and working with multiple departments and locations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to take initiative.
- TMT experience a plus
- Solomon Dynamic experience a plus
- AA, certificates, degree preferred but not needed
