The Director, Investment Management, within the Corporate Planning and Analytics (CP&A) team, will participate in the investment management for the firm by generating the highest investment returns with the funds available - supporting the company’s goal of delivering strong and consistent earnings growth and top tier total shareholder return.
The individual will be a key member of the Investment management team and will work closely with the VP of Investment Management, Head of CP&A and Segment/Functional CFO Teams. The successful candidate will partner across Finance and the Business in driving step change improvement in key areas such as Investment Optimization, Post Investment Appraisal, Competitive Assessment, partnering with the M&A team on Acquisitions and Divestitures
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.
Participate in the Investment Management & Optimization process within Broadridge including:
- Assessing current investments, their performance and BR’s historic trends and sources of funds
- Envisioning a best-in-class investment management framework and process, leveraging internal and external benchmarks
- Leverage new tools and data as part of digital transformation to unlock information and insights which help determine the true returns from invested capital
- Ensure that there is a consistent business case approach across the firm, with key milestone reviews and post investment appraisal analysis
- Ensure business cases are stress tested “through the cycle”
- Generate learnings and data to help shape future investment strategy including portfolio strategy/theory
- Support M&A evaluation as well as divestiture analysis
- Ensure the company sets appropriate internal and external investment profitability targets / guidance
Perform ad hoc strategic analysis including
- Competitor analysis including business performance, financial models, margin analysis
- Lead strategic ad-hoc projects independently and partner with various internal stakeholders as needed
Technical/Functional:
- Excellent analytical, financial and business management skills with deep understanding of P&L management
- Excellent presenter (written and verbal) who can clearly communicate to executive audiences
- Experience working in the Business or Partnering with the Business
- Good understanding of Finance and Investment Management Metrics and Methodologies
- Demonstrable experience in understanding management reporting, budgeting, planning and forecasting, preferably in the financial services industry;
- Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands
Leadership:
- Proactive mindset and a relentless passion to win
- Highly collaborative individual who can influence multiple internal partners to drive results in a matrixed environment
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant financial analysis experience required
- CFA or MBA preferred
Salary range $120,000.00- $130,000.00. Bonus Eligible.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
