The District Manager is responsible for territory plans and activities leading to achievement of quotas in territory sales, end-user/contractor sales, new products, and promotions within his/her respective territory and assigned channels of distribution.

• Sales Quota: Responsible for territory plans and activities leading to achievement of distributor sales quotas within his/her respective territory and assigned channels of distribution.
• End-User/Contractor Sales Quota (B2B): Create and sustain advanced relationships including mastery towards revenue growth with key, influential decision makers, top managers and owners at electrical and construction contractors and other end-users.
• Distributor Branch Activities (B2C): Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to include inventory management, impactful end-user promotions, product training and innovative promotions.
• Votech/Tradeschools: Develop and maintain close relationships with training directors and top instructors at both union and non-union educational facilities. Promote sales and the Klein brand through M2O kits, preferred professional program, and guest training.
• New Products and Promotions: Drive new product awareness and obtain incremental sales of new products, by using co-op strategically to enhance current national promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and 5 to 7 years sales experience are required. Bachelors Degree preferred. Must have a proven track record of continued sales growth and success.
• Must have versatility and flexibility in adjusting to changing business needs and priorities, and strong communications skills, verbal and written. This includes basic knowledge using Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong team focus and ability to work with others, both internal and external to the organization. Must be physically able to perform all physical duties associated with this position, driving long distances, lifting, and demonstrating products. Must be bondable, and possesses a valid driver’s license at all times.

​Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
