Senior IT Solutions Engineer

<p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior IT Solutions Engineer</strong> to join our team!</p><p>The job holder delivers, maintains, and operates infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure cloud ensuring the efficient and stable operation of our ecosystem. The position reports to the Head of IT.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Design &amp; implement highly available cloud infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure services.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver infra solutions that align with business objectives and the enterprise architecture &amp; strategy.</li> <li>Design the infrastructure (landing zones), according to well-architected framework &amp; best practices.</li> <li>Implement and configure Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, App Services and Entra ID.</li> <li>Implement and manage Azure networking, including virtual networks, subnets, network security groups, load balancing (Front Door), VPN connections, DNS, and overall connectivity.</li> <li>Implement automation pipelines for DevOps/Infra deployment/maintenance needs.</li> <li>Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of Azure resources and services.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, connectivity, and services.</li> <li>Collaborate with development teams to facilitate the deployment and integration of applications, running on Azure or 3rd-party infrastructure.</li> <li>Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for Azure-based systems.</li> <li>Monitor Azure infrastructure costs and optimize accordingly, in collaboration with development teams.</li> <li>Maintain IT architecture knowledge repository.</li> <li>Assess infrastructure performance levels, monitor and (re)define SLAs for business &amp; technical services.</li> <li>Deliver and maintain on premises corporate IT infrastructure (primarily networking).</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with responsibility of delivering &amp; maintaining business-critical infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.</li> <li>Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as Code Azure tools (e.g. powershell, CLI, Bicep).</li> <li>IT Operations experience on Azure workloads.</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Keen eye on detail.</li> <li>Problem solving attitude</li> <li>Nice to have:<ul> <li>Banking industry prior experience/knowledge</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions for IT enterprise management &amp; security (i.e. Azure AD/Entra, Intune, Defender).</li> <li>Knowledge of implementation &amp; maintenance of monitoring capability, using Azure Monitor &amp; Insights, or other 3rd party tools.</li> <li>Experience on DevOps pipelines delivery/maintenance.</li> <li>Technical writing knowledge &amp; experience.</li> </ul> </li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary based on experience and skills</li> <li>Medical and life insurance plan| Employer - sponsored</li> <li>Pension plan | Employer - sponsored</li> <li>Participation in impactful international projects from both technological and business aspects.</li> <li>Opportunities for professional and personal development through activities, training, events, conferences.</li> <li>Onboarding support from a dedicated Buddy.</li> </ul><p><strong>Diversity, Equality, Inclusion, Belonging</strong></p><ul> <li>We are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment of providing a work environment that respects the dignity and worth of everyone.</li> <li>We recognize and value the benefits and strengths that diversity brings to our employees, and we thrive in an environment that encourages respect and trust.</li> <li>We welcome and celebrate each unique characteristic a person holds (including, disability, gender identity or expression).</li> </ul><p>Learn how we deal with <a href="https://careers.natech.gr/compliance-terms-acceptance/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">GDPR Compliance</a></p>
