General Notes

This is a grant-funded position and reassignment will be based upon performance, progress toward research goals and continuation of funding. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.

Purpose

This position will coordinate and implement projects related to contract deliverables, including but not limited to, overall peer and recovery project coordination, research, training and curricula development, beta testing new products, and gathering stakeholder feedback.

Responsibilities.

  • Assist with model development for peer training and certification.
  • Coordinate and administer key activities for peer training, recovery focused products, and peer workforce development projects. Ensure deliverables and key deadlines are met for assigned projects. Communicate progress on deliverables with Project Manager.
  • Conduct research, literature reviews, and other information needed to inform best practices and product development.
  • Develop and implement community stakeholder focus groups, listening sessions, surveys, stakeholder and/or subject matter expert meetings, beta testings, and trainings to meet project needs. Summarize and report results to the Addiction Research Institute (ARI) management, project funders and stakeholders.
  • Develop and write product content and materials. Ensure materials are accessible, complete, accurate and consistently formatted.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in curriculum development and project coordination in related field. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Values the contributions of others in the work environment. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree with at least 3 years of experience in curriculum development and project coordination in related field. Texas Peer Support Specialist certification and/or at least 3 years working in peer support direct services.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $72,000 - depending on qualifications

Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions

  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation

Work Shift

  • M-F, Flexible between 8am-6pm
