As a Production Service Developer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the stability and performance of our Linux-based systems and data-driven services. You’ll leverage your expertise in SQL, data processing, and technical troubleshooting to maintain and improve the systems that support our growing client base. You’ll have the opportunity to design scalable solutions for evolving infrastructure needs while ensuring smooth operations for mission-critical healthcare applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Support & Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on support for our clinical platforms, focusing on Linux-based systems and data processing, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to maintain system reliability.
- System Optimization: Analyze performance bottlenecks and design solutions to improve system efficiency, scalability, and security in a dynamic cloud environment.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with Development, Operations, and Infrastructure teams to deliver seamless solutions for both internal and external stakeholders.
- System Design & Architecture: Design and implement scalable and resilient production environments, focusing on configuration deployments, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
- Client-Focused Problem-Solving: Address high-severity issues while maintaining clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a customer-first approach.
- Continuous Improvement: Bring new ideas to improve and simplify the production infrastructure, driving innovations that keep us at the cutting edge of healthcare technology.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Linux Expertise: Solid experience supporting Linux-based systems, including scripting, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
- SQL & Data Processing: Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data management, and processing in a cloud-based environment.
- Application & Infrastructure Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues related to both applications and infrastructure dependencies.
- Work Management Systems: Familiarity with ticketing tools like Jira or ServiceNow for efficient issue tracking and resolution.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Excellent troubleshooting abilities to manage high-severity issues and maintain operational continuity.
- Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to diverse audiences.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Demonstrated success working alongside development, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Healthcare IT Experience: Background in healthcare IT, specifically in clinical platforms or electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Monitoring & Observability Tools: Familiarity with tools like Zabbix, Splunk, or Elastic for proactive system monitoring and issue detection.
- Automation Tools: Exposure to automation frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, or Jenkins for efficient deployment and configuration management.
- Cloud & Data Migration: Experience with legacy-to-cloud migration and working on modern data processing platforms.
