PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA) - MARY CLARK THOMPSON FAMILY PRACTICE

Main Function

• Under the general supervision of Practice Physician(s), provides clinical medicine services and applicable administrative services to family practice patients at Mary Clark Thompson Family Practice, located in the state of the art YMCA facility in Canandaigua, NY!

  • Provides consistent, high quality care consistent with accepted national and/or community standards.
  • Collaborates with office staff in development and performance of efficient office practices.
  • Liaisons with practice management and hospital administration on behalf of the practice.
  • Liaisons with staff on behalf of practice management and hospital administration.
  • Fosters a cohesive Thompson identity through CARES values (Commitment, Action, Respect, Excellence & Service).
  • Assures regulatory compliance.
  • Provides patient management and role modeling that unifies practice goals with health system goals.
  • Acts in the best interest of the patient.
  • Assists the health system in meeting strategic goals.

     

    Schedule: Full Time Day Shift

    Qualifications:

    • Certification and NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
    • DEA license required.
    • Able to gain and maintain appropriate FFTH privileges.
    • Knowledge of ICD10 coding preferred.

     

    Education:          

    • Graduation from an AMA approved school as a Physician Assistant.
    • Meets continuing education requirements of the applicable discipline board

       

      Experience:

      • Previous experience as a Physician Assistant preferred.
      • Previous experience in primary care medicine preferred.

         

        Pay Range:$114,000-$134,000

        Starting Pay: Based on Experience
