Reports To:  Chief Information Officer

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical certifications and/or applicable college courses.  An Associates or Bachelor degree in a related field preferred.  Multiple years of demonstrated expertise providing technical support.
  • Has undergone a physical examination, by a licensed physician, that documents capability to perform required duties.
  • Has an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain (e.g. install, troubleshoot, repair, etc.) desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, software and operating systems
  • Manage and develop images for computers and devices
  • Manage and support remote devices and access for staff and students
  • Investigate solutions for various technical problems
  • Ensure timely updates for operating systems and applications
  • Track and manage inventory, warranties and repairs
  • Maintain vendor relationships and manage licensing
  • Maintain documentation, asset inventories, passwords and manage helpdesk tickets
  • In coordination with the Systems Administrators manage end-user credentials and access to network resources, including file shares, printers, Internet and network services
  • Meet regularly with administration
  • Regularly communicate with and assist local district staff on the proper use and maintenance of technology tools
  • General A/V equipment, including projection equipment, audio sound systems and multimedia delivery systems
  • Foster relationships with staff and students
  • Collaborate with school IT department
