Reports To: Chief Information Officer
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical certifications and/or applicable college courses. An Associates or Bachelor degree in a related field preferred. Multiple years of demonstrated expertise providing technical support.
- Has undergone a physical examination, by a licensed physician, that documents capability to perform required duties.
- Has an electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain (e.g. install, troubleshoot, repair, etc.) desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, software and operating systems
- Manage and develop images for computers and devices
- Manage and support remote devices and access for staff and students
- Investigate solutions for various technical problems
- Ensure timely updates for operating systems and applications
- Track and manage inventory, warranties and repairs
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage licensing
- Maintain documentation, asset inventories, passwords and manage helpdesk tickets
- In coordination with the Systems Administrators manage end-user credentials and access to network resources, including file shares, printers, Internet and network services
- Meet regularly with administration
- Regularly communicate with and assist local district staff on the proper use and maintenance of technology tools
- General A/V equipment, including projection equipment, audio sound systems and multimedia delivery systems
- Foster relationships with staff and students
- Collaborate with school IT department
