JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Support the team to advance state-of-the-art wireless technology, including generating patents. 

• Participate in standard bodies and OSS community to make technical contributions. 

• Investigate new research areas to realize Sony vision. 

• Collaborate with our global teams in the world to reach an optimal outcome.

QUALIFICATIONS  

Your qualifications and experience should include:   

• Ph.D. degree, or Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, in electrical/communication engineering or in Computer Science.  

• Excellent wireless communication background including system or link level aspects. 

• Experience in wireless LAN systems, cellular systems, sensor network technologies, distributed networking technologies, or wireless PAN systems. 

• A good knowledge of wireless LAN protocol.  Experience on wireless LAN (IEEE802.11) MAC/PHY layers protocol design and/or analysis is preferred.
