Part Time Lab Technician, Industrial Technology

Major Responsibilities: Responsibilities include assisting Program Chair or Adjunct Faculty in answering questions from students regarding lab projects; teaching demonstrations; performing minor repairs on equipment; preparing equipment and materials for labs; and maintaining tool room and other labs.
Conduct all activities with an appreciation and respect for diversity of people, styles, and views. Promote same as an integral part of one's work.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma required; Mechanical aptitude; good communication skills; ability to work independently; and be able to lift 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications: Technical Certificate and two years on-the-job training as a preferred. Two years of welding experience.
Other Requirements: Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
Working Hours: Day and/or evening hours to be arranged.
