The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Production Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL!
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
- Oversee the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processes.
- Guides to the review of production plans.
- Apply advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems.
- Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance.
- Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field.
- Establish process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives.
- Oversee the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
- Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion.
- Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes.
- Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance have been eliminated.
- Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity.
- Creates formal analytical reports and coordinate with the parties responsible for internal/external distribution.
- Works under minimal direction and is responsible for training and mentoring lower-level technicians.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience working in Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
- 3+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
- 3+ years of experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 6+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Experience with NASA and/or Space Launch Systems (SLS) avionics systems

Summary pay range: USD $111,350 - $150,650
