Physical Therapist Assistant - Singing River

Job Type: Full-Time

 

Singing River is experiencing increased census in our Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and is looking to grow our team!

Join our team as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and work collaboratively with a high-performing interdisciplinary team in a CARF-accredited rehabilitation program with a stroke specialty.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Position Summary

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

Essential Functions

  • Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
  • Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
  • Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Additional Information

  • Team-oriented and patient-focused with strong communication skills.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
  • Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
  • License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
  • Certifications: CPR certification required.
