Senior Director, Talent Acquisition

We are currently looking for a passionate, strategic leader to take on the role of Senior Director, Talent Acquisition supporting our Diagnostics business segment. Along with leading a national Recruiting team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and delivering innovative, effective and scalable talent acquisition strategies in support of our Diagnostics business. In partnership with other members of the Global TA leadership team, they will also strive to ensure a best-in-class Global TA Function by maintaining continuous improvement and effectiveness of our processes, practices, analytics and use of technology as well as providing relevant metrics and reporting of our recruitment strategies and performance. As a subject matter expert, they will need to establish and maintain partnerships with business leadership and HR colleagues and serve as a trusted advisor for matters regarding analysis of the talent market, talent sourcing, talent attraction, interview training and employer branding.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage market insights and trends to develop, implement and measure the effectiveness of national recruitment strategies that align with overall business objectives and initiatives.
- As a talent partner and advisor to the business, provide insight on the talent landscape and market trends that will aid in the overall decisions for workforce planning, recruiting strategies and developing talent pools.
- Foster a high-performance culture, motivate team members and promote professional development. Manage a team of Talent Acquisition leaders by providing coaching and guidance that ensures continuous improvement on techniques and practices while measuring accountability and successful delivery on hiring targets. Leverage data to identify KPIs and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the processes as well as team and individual performance.
- Provide effective organizational design and structure within the TA team to ensure proper capacity expectations to increase the efficiency of the deployment of resources to support the evolving demand of the business.
- Utilize data and analytics to define and measure the effectiveness of existing recruitment strategies as well as design new and/or optimized approaches that offer continuous improvement to deliver on the evolving business needs.
- Present TA strategies and results to senior leaders and key stakeholders providing consistent updates, projected expectations and recommendations to meet the needs of the business.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements in all aspects of talent acquisition by keeping up with global laws and regulations that affect the hiring practices and processes of our function.
- In partnership with other members of the Global TA leadership team, establishes and monitors practices, processes and use of technology to maintain the evolution of the Global TA function within a high volume, demanding environment.
- Partner with the technology team to make recommendations on the selection, implementation and/or optimization of systems and tools that can enhance the results and experience for Recruiters, Hiring Managers and candidates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience highly preferred.
- 10+ years’ experience in Human Resources particularly leading teams, change, talent strategies and/or influencing business decisions as it pertains to workforce planning and talent needs.
- Experience developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies and plans within a national landscape in a high volume, heavily matrixed environment.
- Ability to use data and metrics to analyze situations and provide solutions and strategies that improve processes and impact overall results.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to “tell the story” in a way that is relevant and effective for audiences at all levels.
- Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners including Executive leadership.
- Proven experience in assessing and identifying quality talent at all levels of the organization with a focus on the organization’s talent objectives.
- Excellent time management, decision-making, presentation, organization and communication skills (both oral and written).
- Able to travel on an infrequent basis.
Pay Range: $165,000 - $185,000/annually with annual bonus and equity
