POSITION SPECIFICS

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA is seeking an Assistant Research Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct experimental research in polymer materials.

The applicant must have a Ph.D. in materials science and engineering or a related field. The applicant should preferably have industrial or post-doctoral research experience beyond Ph.D. training.

Experience with polymer processing and characterization, vitrimerization, and liquid crystalline polymers is also preferred.

Applications must be submitted electronically and include a CV. This is a non-tenure line position, funded for one year from the date of hire with possibility of refunding.
