About ASML Software metrology

We have organized our metrology resources into several clusters and each of these clusters consists of two groups: functional and software. The former envisions and shapes metrology processes, while the latter designs and develops them in software. Although their focus is different, both groups are tightly linked together cooperating towards the best end result.

The software metrology groups interact with each other on a project basis. These groups are composed of software engineers and architects who design, implement, test and maintain software according to functional specifications.

The DevOps engineers takes care of the automation tools around the development process to fast deliver it by respecting the market best practices and making sure that all requirements are met.

About the role

As senior DevOps (Test Quality) engineer, you have opportunity to:

• Design high-quality CI/CD pipelines that allows fast and efficient delivery of metrology software
• Coach the team to have seamless usage of DevOps tools
• Provide a first-hand feedback to the team on the quality of developed features
• Assess the first-test failures and decide whether it's a development or infrastructure failure
• Identify possible test improvements as a result of pipeline test investigation, if any
• Pay attention to detail and carrying out tasks to the highest standards

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills/experience:

• Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, system engineering, or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience as a devops engineer in a multidisciplinary setting
• A proven track-record in Unix/Linux
• Understanding of Software Test Architecture/ Modular architecture
• Knowledge of Software Test Design Patterns and Code versioning (Git)
• Experience in Cloud Environments
• Experience in IaaC software
• Experience in CI/CD tools
• Experience in infrastructure monitoring
• Experience in development process monitoring (value stream mapping)
• Experience in containerized applications and Kubernetes
• Experience in bash/shell scripting and Python

Additional qualifications

• Jenkins experience is a plus
• Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus
• Terraform experience is a plus
• Splunk experience is a plus
• Bazel build experience is a plus
• Experience with the Agile way of working
