Data Engineer

- Develop and maintain data pipelines that process and integrate data from multiple sources into the Enterprise Data Platform.
- Build pipelines and workflows as code using modern engineering practices including version control, testing, reusable components, and code reviews.
- Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to understand data requirements that support business outcomes.
- Build and optimize Structured Query Language queries and data transformations supporting data products and business use cases.
- Create and manage data models and review them with business collaborators and data architects.
- Conduct data validation and troubleshooting to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Automate workflows to improve data processing efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Implement and support continuous integration and continuous deployment processes for data pipelines including automated builds, tests, deployments, and environment promotion.
- Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and alerting for data pipelines and queries; contribute to operational runbooks and support processes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to plan, estimate, and deliver work efficiently.
- Assist in developing documentation for data workflows, transformations, and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in a data engineering or related role.
- Proficiency in Structured Query Language for data transformation and analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Experience using Python or PySpark for data processing.
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.
- Experience with DevOps practices including Git-based development and pull requests.
- Exposure to continuous integration and continuous deployment for data pipelines is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$72,500-$107,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
