Position Specific Description

Our Distribution Operations Department is looking for a Control Center Lead to join their team at the Distribution Control Center in West Palm Beach, FL.

Job Overview

Employees in this role lead and coordinate system operations and restoration activities with internal and external customers. Individuals effectively coordinate and utilize resources to reduce service unavailability and enhance customer satisfaction by completing service restoration.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinates restoration efforts balances workload with restoration performance to ensure a cost competitive organization
• Provides adequate and accurate information to internal/external stakeholders to keep customers properly informed
• Ensures appropriate equipment and materials are available to perform restoration work
• Reviews and analyzes previous days system wide restoration performance and results
• Coordinates switching activities and works with dispatchers on daily performance issues and activities
• Promotes safety consciousness and adherences to OSHA and Company safety requirements
• Evaluates payroll and overtime requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 3+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
