This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

As part of a hard-working and accomplished team of experts, you will process invoices for various spaceflight systems and support functions. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of AP invoice processing. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedication and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices

• Work with Procurement and suppliers to resolve invoicing issues

• Reconcile supplier statements

• Assist with various other payables functions as assigned

Qualifications

• Professional experience with payables processing including enterprise-level, high-volume payables

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Basic understanding of payables' impact on the GL and financial statements

• High attention to detail and critical thinking skills

• Able to work independently and collaborate with various internal levels and departments

• Comfortable with a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment

Desired

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field or equivalent professional experience

• Experience with Coupa, Costpoint, Cognos, and Concur

• Experience with Microsoft Teams

 

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $20.42-$28.59

• Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
