Responsibilities
The team supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. The TTO is performed out of the Peraton contractor facility and offers flexible hours and telework opportunities.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
The Test Engineer, shall have at least the following experience:
- Five (5) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
- Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to develop and maintain test plans and test cases, and test steps
- Ability to develop and maintain automated test cases
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve automation issues
- Ability to perform manual testing
- Ability to analyze and interpret test results
- Ability to create Bug tickets for testing issues
- Ability to participate in cross-disciplinary teams
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for coordination with teammates in building automation frameworks
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph clearance required
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development
- Knowledge of test automation tools or willingness to learn (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium,)
- Knowledge of constructing Gherkin to capture desired system behavior
- Experience integrating software applications with test automation tools (e.g., Cucumber)
- Experience writing tests in programming languages or willingness to learn (e.g., Python, Java)
- Understanding of web technologies or willingness to learn (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience working with databases (e.g., SQL)
- Experience designing and implementing automated systems to perform software testing
- Experience identifying and replicating errors in automation scripts
- Experience planning, executing, and analyzing test data to verify the performance and efficiency of system

Target Salary Range
