Production Manager

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
•    Bachelor of Science in Management, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Previous experience as a supervisor or production manager in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
•    Excellent communicator that exhibits strong critical thinking capabilities with the ability to multi-task daily.
•    Demonstrated ability to understand financials and profitability.
•    Broad knowledge of manufacturing, assembly practices.
•    Experience with ERP systems.
•    Demonstrated strong analytical thinking and sound judgment.
•    Demonstrated understanding of production planning strategies.
•    Results oriented person that continues to drive for excellence.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit at a computer; use hands to type or key, use a mouse, or feel; talk, and hear.
•    The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms.
•    The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
•    Factory environment with large range in temperature changes and noise.
•    Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
•    Walking throughout the day up to eight (8) hours.
•    Bending/Stooping repetitively throughout the day.
•    Push/Pull up repetitively throughout the day.
•    Travel less than 10%.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
•    Above average proficiency in use of MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
•    Experience in Project Management preferred.
•    Basic understanding of ERP systems.
