In this role, you will own and optimize Illumio’s end-to-end lead flow process, overseeing lead capture, data enrichment, normalization, segmentation, lead scoring, and routing. 

Everyday, you will manage and operate core marketing tools such as LeanData, RingLead, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and Full Circle Insights, as well as collaborate closely with the Marketing Automation Manager to develop a best-in-class inbound marketing process in Marketo. 

To thrive in this role, you must have 8+ years of marketing operations experience in B2B SaaS, be an expert in core marketing technology tools, and demonstrate a self-starter mentality with a drive to build and optimize. You must also possess strong organizational and communication skills to navigate an ambiguous business environment and drive positive outcomes within the team.

The Senior Manager of Marketing Operations will play a critical role on the Marketing Operations team to drive key initiatives and support our overall marketing strategy. Primary objectives include owning and optimizing Illumio’s end-to-end lead flow process, administering core marketing technology tools, and developing a data architecture and data governance process to ensure clean and accurate data. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and optimize the entire lead flow process including lead capture, data enrichment, normalization, segmentation, lead scoring, and routing 

  • Manage and oversee the operations of core marketing tools such as LeanData, RingLead, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and Full Circle Insights. 

  • Partner closely with the Marketing Automation Manager to develop a best-in-class inbound marketing process in Marketo and with the Marketing Analytics Manager to ensure data quality for reporting. 

  • Work closely with the BizApps (IT) team to identify, diagnose, and address system bugs and implement enhancements within Salesforce CRM. 

  • Support the Demand Gen team with implementation requests, system documentation, and process enablement. 

  • Partner with ADR managers to support the ADR function with lead assignment, dynamic report/dashboard visibility, lead notifications, SLA adherence, and funnel stage rules and automation.   

  • Responsible for marketing tool planning, integration, implementation, UAT, and enablement.   

  • Construct and optimize marketing campaigns and workflows to ensure we are operating at peak efficiency with flawless execution. 

  • Be the marketing funnel expert and improve targeting by continuously improving database quality with data orchestration and enrichment.  

  • Optimize the use of our existing marketing technology stack and make renewal and procurement recommendations.  

 

Experience:

  • 8+ years of marketing operations experience in B2B SaaS required. 

  • Must be an expert in core marketing technology tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Full Circle Insights, and LeanData. Certifications are a plus.  

  • Be a self-starter. Be curious. Have the drive to build and optimize.  

  • Have a solid understanding of B2B marketing analytics such as funnel/waterfall frameworks, attribution modeling, and UTM tracking.  

  • Thrive in an ambiguous business environment and drive positivity within the team. 

  • Apply critical thinking (a data and process decision approach) when reviewing and analyzing data ensuring there is a logical review with accompanying information that supports the recommendations being made. 

  • Communicate clearly and often to ensure leadership and colleagues are kept aware of relevant issues or updates. 

  • Ability to conceptualize, plan, and document effectively.
