Compensation Range: $100,000-130,000 Annual Salary + Annual Bonus Potential + Full Time Benefits

Sandstone Care is a mission-driven age-specific behavioral health treatment provider, specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders and mood disorders. Position Overview:
The Teen Residential Treat Center Site Director oversees care delivery and manages residential treatment programs. Responsibilities include administrative and clinical supervision of all direct care staff—therapists, nurses, and behavioral health technicians. The role ensures compliance with policies and procedures, recruits and hires treatment staff, verifies professional credentials, manages peer review processes to improve clinical practices, and provides direct client services as needed. Collaboration with the Clinical Services Director and National Director of Nursing is required. Occasional evenings and weekend work may be necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Master’s degree in a human services, counseling, or behavioral health discipline (e.g., social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, addictions) or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Independent licensure (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT/LCMFT, RN, NP)
- Valid driver’s license
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in substance use disorder (SUD) and mood disorder treatment strongly preferred
- Experience in PHP, Residential, and/or Withdrawal Management settings preferred
- 3+ years of clinical experience with adolescents
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience managing teams of clinicians
- Familiar with trauma-informed care principles
- Experience in multidisciplinary teams including nurses and physicians
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
- Foster a high-performing culture focused on client partnership and empowerment
- Design and oversee clinical programs, including scheduling, curriculum, and behavior modification
- Monitor client outcomes and audit clinical documentation monthly for compliance
- Conduct weekly individual meetings with clinical team members to review caseloads
- Utilize evidence-based treatment for SUD and co-occurring disorders
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
- Communicate with families and community partners as appropriate
- Lead weekly clinical team meetings to review treatment plans and progress
- Oversee discharge planning, follow-up care coordination, and stakeholder communication
- Monitor utilization review documentation and assist with insurance medical necessity reviews
- Maintain positive relationships with families, referral sources, and community resources
- Represent the organization in committees, professional meetings, and marketing activities
- Demonstrate clear communication, sound judgment, and emotional stability
