THE ROLE
As Indie Campers Global Payroll Specialist, you will be assuming a variety of tasks to coordinate and execute international payroll processes and the management of our employee benefit program. You will be joining our People Matters & Rewards team in our Lisbon HQ, and working closely together with internal and external stakeholders and providers.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- Prepare and execute payroll instructions with 3rd party payroll company adhering to deadlines, ensuring effective payroll processing and strict compliance with company standards, local tax and legal legislation;
- Provide day-to-day coordination ensuring all monthly changes and impacts to payroll are registered;
- Administer HR related documentation, maintain HR records and personnel database regarding employees remuneration packages;
- Manage monthly Fringe Benefit Plan;
- Manage the employee onboarding process, working closely with Talent Acquisition teams & HR, to ensure a smooth onboarding process;
- Manage the offboarding process, to provide a smooth exit for leavers, while ensuring all records are up to date and in line with local legislation;
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns;
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- You are naturally deadline-driven and detail oriented, able to juggle multiple processes through completion while ensuring all deadlines and payroll needs are met;
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are able to make sound decisions and recommendations with little supervision;
- Fluent in English mandatory (written & spoken);
- 2+ years payroll experience in a fast-paced environment required;
- Experience in supporting international payroll is a plus;
- Familiarity using Excel and spreadsheets;
- Experience with Accounting and/or Payroll software (e.g. Primavera) is a plus;
- Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred.
