Role Overview The Manager, Editorial Operations executes the day-to-day editorial workflows that ensure Walmart Connect content is polished, compliant, and ready for activation. This role manages intake, editing, and approvals while partnering closely with content creators, vertical teams, and enablement partners. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends editorial expertise with operational execution. Key Responsibilities Editorial Execution- Manage end-to-end editorial workflows for assigned content streams.
- Review, edit, and QA content for accuracy, clarity, brand voice, and compliance.
- Ensure content meets readiness standards before publication or enablement.
- Own content intake, prioritization, and scheduling for assigned stakeholders.
- Coordinate reviews with Legal, Brand, and Compliance partners as needed.
- Track timelines, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce friction.
- Maintain version control and lifecycle hygiene in partnership with Systems.
- Serve as the primary editorial point of contact for vertical and industry teams.
- Provide guidance and feedback to content creators to improve quality upstream.
- Communicate clearly on timelines, requirements, and expectations.
- Track volume, turnaround time, and quality metrics.
- Share insights and trends with senior leadership to inform improvements.
- 5–7+ years of experience in editorial operations, content management, or marketing operations.
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
- Comfort managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Familiarity with content enablement platforms (e.g., Seismic) preferred.
