  • Facilitate weekly solution checkpoints, cross-PM touchpoints, and risk management sessions.

  • Track deliverables and dependencies across implementation phases and agency stakeholders.

Governance and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Participate in governance structures including the Executive Steering Committee, Project Leadership Team, and Functional Teams.

  • Prepare briefing materials, meeting agendas, and decision support documentation for governance bodies.

  • Escalate risks and issues to appropriate governance levels using structured RACI models.

  • Ensure agency priorities are reflected in decision-making and milestone planning.

Reporting and Communications

  • Develop and maintain project dashboards, status reports, and executive summaries.

  • Coordinate with communications and change management teams to align messaging and stakeholder updates.

  • Support readiness reviews, go/no-go assessments, and post-go-live evaluations.

  • Ensure transparency and accountability through structured reporting and documentation.

Risk and Issue Management

  • Monitor project risks and issues, ensuring mitigation plans are in place and tracked.

  • Facilitate issue triage and resolution across vendors, agencies, and internal teams.

  • Support change control processes, including impact assessments and documentation.

Surge and Sustainment Planning

  • Assist in planning and executing surge staffing for build, testing, training, and go-live phases.

  • Coordinate knowledge transfer and stabilization activities post-go-live.

  • Support transition planning to operations and maintenance (O&M) teams.

What You Will Do:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in healthcare IT or public sector programs.

  • Proven success supporting large-scale EHR implementations.

  • Strong understanding of PMO operations, governance, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Experience with integrated master scheduling, risk management, and reporting tools.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.

  • Experience with federal/state EHR implementations, including VA or DoD.

  • Familiarity with state agencies and governance structures.
