Description
The Human Resources generalists supports the director of human resources in performing the day to day operations. Performs the interviews for the organization and provides assistance with administrative support and guidance as needed.Key Responsibilities
- Provides oversight including coaching, mentoring, and coordinating annual performance evaluations.
- Assists with developing and administering various human resources plans and procedures for company personnel.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
- Assist in the responsibility and accountability for performing human resource functions for all aspects of the company.
- Works with managers and schedulers to identify on a weekly basis staffing needs and to carry out the hiring process for new employees.
- Interviews applicants at assigned locations and others as needed.
- Serves as a resource to managers in teaching human resource functions for proper management of direct reports.
- Proper and consistent monitoring of employee performance, including timely and accurate
- documentation, completing performance reviews and disciplinary action documentation.
- Attending one-on-one employee meetings with managers who may be investigating reports or delivering a disciplinary action to employees.
- Assisting with processing terminations.
- Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining all employee personnel files in accordance with specific service line guidelines, state and federal laws.
- Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the role and proves ability to be trusted with high-level information.

- Participates in all mandatory education as offered by the company.
- Identifies and communicates personal professional growth goals to leaders.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related fieldPreferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Master’s Degree in Human
Resources or related field.
Experience: Three years direct Human Resources experience or related experience, One year recruitment experience
Required: Valid State of Michigan Driver's License and Auto Insurance
