Job Description & Skill Requirement:
• Deliver task analysis, wireframe, and user error analysis.
• Assisting in training associates in Ux and HF methods
• Collaborate with team to define detailed user interface design
• Assist and/or develop the human machine interface (user experience) for next generation laboratory diagnostics systems
• Plan and execute usability testing, analyze data, document results and present recommendations to product teams
• Use proven human factors methodologies and tools; recommend changes to improve the overall usability and ensure safe and reliable user experience.
• Apply FDA human factors process towards the development of medical devices and follows the guidelines of the FDA (e.g. IEC 62366, AAMI HE75)
• Participate in daily management and sprint planning.
• Work in an obeya environment with cross functional teams on new product development while adhering to software development processes.
Qualification:
• BS in Engineering, Human Factors, Usability Engineering, Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Industrial Design, Engineering Psychology or equivalent technical degree
• At least 6 years (or MS+ 4 years) of total experience in software and hardware development of medical devices
• At least 3 years of relevant Ux and/or human factors engineering experience
