About the role

Description

The Department of Special Education at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a three-year renewable appointment, non-tenure track professor of the practice faculty position with a specific focus in applied behavior analysis. The 11-month position is at the open rank level. The duties of the position are to teach courses in applied behavior analysis and single case research design; secure and supervise internship placements; supervise students in field internships; monitor BACB certification requirements; and serve on departmental and university committees.  Affiliation with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Research on Human Development is possible.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a doctorate in Special Education or related field, be a board-certified behavior analyst, have experience working with students with disabilities, and have an established record (or demonstrated potential) of dissemination activities such as publishing in relevant journals, presenting at national conferences, and developing instructional materials. Expertise and experience in preparing certified behavior analysts in evidence-based practices are necessary.
