We are searching for dynamic licensed Licensed Sales Agent to join our dedicated Sales team and help potential customers navigate the complexities of home insurance and other products available through Kin. As a key player in our growth strategy, you have the chance to connect with homeowners in order to deliver expert consultation on their insurance needs. Our Marketing team supplies you with qualified leads, allowing you to focus on what you do best: closing sales, making a difference, and building lasting relationships. Here, you get to be the driving force behind our customer experience, from the first interaction to closing the deal.
On-target earnings (OTE) start at $84,000, but with uncapped earnings and performance-based incentives, your earning potential is limitless. Our top performers consistently reach six figures and above.
A Day In The Life Could Include
Connecting with Potential Customers: Handling inbound inquiries via phone, email, and text to understand customer needs and recommend tailored insurance solutions that fit their unique situation
Exceeding Sales Targets: Consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals by building strong relationships, applying effective sales techniques, and ensuring that every interaction adds value for the customer
Showcasing Our Products: Clearly communicating the benefits of our insurance offerings, addressing customer questions with confidence and delivering exceptional service throughout the process
Maximizing Sales Potential: Leveraging company-provided leads to drive sales, consistently following up to move customers through the sales funnel and toward a successful close
Collaborating with Teams: Partner with underwriters and customer service reps to ensure a smooth, seamless experience from the initial inquiry through policy issuance
Guiding Customer Decisions: Simplifying complex insurance jargon and educating customers on the coverage options that best protect their most important assets
I’ve got the skills… but do I have the necessary ones?
At least 6 months of P&C insurance experience in a fast-paced sales environment; homeowners, auto and call center experience are a plus.
Prior sales experience considered: We're open to candidates with previous insurance sales experience (even if not recent) if they've maintained their license and CE, or those with a strong sales background from other industries.
Active P&C licensure within your current state of residence.
Outstanding communicator with a natural ability to build relationships and gain trust.
A proven track record as a closer, with strong negotiation skills and a history of exceeding sales targets.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented focus; you have a passion for hitting sales goals.
Ability to adhere to metrics, schedules, and training protocols while juggling multiple priorities.
Proficiency in CRM systems and telephone software, with the ability to efficiently use multiple platforms simultaneously.
Bonus Points: Licensed in California and/or Surplus Lines License.
