We are located at 383 Paradise Rd, Swampscott, MA. As an OB/GYN office, our obstetricians and gynecologists provide high-quality conscientious care to our patients, including annual check-ups, pre-and postnatal care, and sophisticated gynecologic surgery. Many of our physicians are specially trained in performing minimally invasive procedures.

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time, 36-hour Medical Assistant to support our Swampscott and Danvers practice. Our practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The role requires flexibility to travel between both sites as needed. We operate on a monthly schedule, which provides the team with clear visibility of which site they will be assigned to on any given day.

Responsibilities include:

-Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
-Assisting during office visits (rooming, examinations, procedures, and -treatments as directed)
-Performing clinically appropriate tasks related to coordination of care (general patient guidance, test results, prescription refills, etc.)
-Maintaining neat, clean, and safe patient care areas
-Interacting with patients and their families in a professional, friendly manner consistent with their needs

 

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma/GED
• Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire

 

Additional Job Details (if applicable)

Preferred:

• Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1-year professional experience
• National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
