Pharmacy Technician

The Infusion Pharmacy Technician-Clinical is responsible for assisting the Pharmacist and Nurse in providing pharmaceutical and supply services to home infusion patients. This position performs non-discretionary functions, which include dispensing, distribution of medications and supplies, and maintaining patient records.  These duties are performed under the immediate supervision and control of a licensed pharmacist.

Required qualifications:

• upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician. Or
• upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License (Vendor Managed)
• upon hire: In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302.
• 1 year (2080 clock hours) of pharmacy technician experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program.
• Inpatient or Home Infusion experience.
• Experience with Pyxis CII Safe

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
