About the role

What is the job about?

As the Lead Finance Specialist, Global processes PtP role will be centred on process design and improvement across all entities globally, it is a strategic role that is less focused on day-to-day operations and more on the bigger picture (separate ownership and process design from operations and process running).

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the overall performance and improvement of the Global PtP processes
  • Build roadmap for best practice ‘to be’ design of PtP process and as a global owner support and manage realization of it
  • Drive continuous process improvement activities
  • Communicating with and influencing key stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of objectives and priorities
  • Work with other process owners within the Global team to prioritize initiatives and harmonize strategy
  • Drive deployment of processes including required technology
  • Ensure valid and updated process documentation and training material at all times and up-to-date communication through different channels.
  • Establish plans for process development
  • Drive change towards global processes and acts as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Identify gaps, propose solutions and prepare impact assessment to facilitate decision making

 

Your background

We imagine that you have:  

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree within e.g. Finance, Processes
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in managerial position or process development in SSC (preferable PtP)
  • Profound experience with leading teams and complex activities
  • Advanced level of English orally and in writing           
  • Significant experience of process improvement in a global organization
  • Experienced PtP lead role in global company or within a finance shared service environment likely as a global process lead.
  • Know how on best practice in the PtP domain including tools and systems.
  • Experience with driving adherence to standards across organization.
  • Track record to deliver result in non-hierarchical environments and across functions.
  • Ability to document process and tools in detailed standards.
  • Results focused mentality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, partner to senior management.
