Position Summary & Highlights:
We are seeking for a Supervisor for our Sterile Processing Department located at our Boise, Idaho location. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Windows, Word, and Excel.
Familiarity with the ABACUS Instrument Tracking System is preferred.
A strong commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement within departmental operations.
What You Will Do:
Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organization's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Assists the Manager with quality/continuous improvement activities of the Sterile Processing department to meet QA/QI/JCAHO standards of practice.
Assists Manager with daily operations of the Sterile Processing Department and prepares work assignments for staff.
Assists Manager with managing labor and supply components of the budget.
Responsible for maintaining ABACUS Instrument Tracking System.
Assists Manager in organization functions of the department.
Assists Manager in conducting annual performance evaluations of SPD staff.
Assist the Manager with evaluation of the department's service delivery. Recommends and implements process improvements.
Responsible for all daily operations in the absence of the SPD Manager.
Develops educational calendars for all in-service training. Provides education and training to SPD staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
CSPDT (certified sterile processing and distribution technician) or CRCST (certified registered central sterile technician) required.
CIS (certified instrument specialist) or CSIS (certified surgical instrument specialist) required as verified through either IAHCSMM or CBSPD
CSPM (certified sterile processing manager) or CHL (certified healthcare leader) required within 6 months of hire.
1-2 years Sterile Processing experience required
A minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant leadership experience preferred.
Work Schedule:
40 hours a week, Mondays - Fridays, 3:00pm to 11:00pm with some weekend shifts.
